Edith Irene Anderson

      BRIGHTON - Edith Irene Anderson, 81, of Brighton, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, at Park Place Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville, with the Rev. Stephen J. Estrem and the Rev. Wayne Wilken officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery adjacent to the church. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. Memorials may be directed to Hope Lutheran Church.

      Mrs. Anderson was born April 24, 1922, to Andrew and Ada (Diers) Zihlman. She married Gerald C. Anderson, on Feb. 27, 1946, at Hope Lutheran Church near Germanville.
