Edith June Ricks
BRIGHTON-Edith June Ricks, 77, of Brighton, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Brighton United Church with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery near Wayland. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Brighton Volunteer First Responders.
Mrs. Ricks was born on Sept. 30, 1926, in Middletown, to William E. and Bessie K. (Neff) Zickefoose. She married Joseph Ricks on Dec. 22, 1946, in Brighton.
