Edith M. Lloyd, age 79, of Washington, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Collier officiating. Calling hours will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. She is survived by her son, Tony Lloyd and wife Robin of Kalona, IA; son, Calvin Lloyd of Washington, IA; son, Mike Lloyd and wife Lisa of Ainsworth, IA; 9 grandchildren: 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Hurley and wife JoAnn of Lewisport, KY; brother, Jerry Hurley of Newburg, IN; brother, Rick Hurley of Newburg, IN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William "Bill" Lloyd, Jr. in 2010, and brother, John Lee Hurley in 2010.
