Edith Lois Canott
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Edith Lois Canott, 83, formerly of Crawfordsville, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, in West Palm Beach, Fla., after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home in Hollywood, Fla., and at a later date in Washington.
Mrs. Canott was born Aug. 8, 1925, in Bloomington, Ind., the daughter of Elmer and Fern (Deckard) Hays. She married Samuel G. Canott on Feb. 23, 1946, at the United Methodist Church in Washington.
