Edith Nebel February 20, 1921 - January 5, 2004

Edith Nebel, 82, of Noble, died on Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at the Parkview Home in Wayland.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Robert Hartzler officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday at the church with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to Parkview Home and to the Sugar Creek Sewing. Betty Funeral Home of Wayland is assisting with the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ledru Nebel of Noble; four daughters, Dorthy and her husband Duane Truman of Davenport, Betty and her husband Frank Hocker of Davenport, Joan and her husband Jim Eubanks of Noble, and Nadine and her husband Gary Giudicessi of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Frances Howe of Hayward, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wayne Rich.
