Edith Stacy

      WAYLAND - Edith Stacy, 95 of Wayland, formerly of Brighton, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at Parkview Home in Wayland.

      A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, at Wayland Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Gerry Klopfenstein and the Rev. Pam Unruh officiating. Private family burial will be prior to the service in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. According to Mrs. Stacy's wishes, her body has been cremated and there will be no formal visitation. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements. Memorials have been established for Parkview Home in Wayland or Hospice of Washington County.

      Mrs. Stacy was born July 8, 1910, in East Pleasant Plain to Burdell and Venolia (Heald) Montgomery. She married Raymond T. Stacy in East Pleasant Plain on Dec. 24, 1933.
