Edith Swope
Edith Swope, 95, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at her home.
A memorial service will be at a later date in Florida, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando. There will be no local visitation or funeral. Memorials have been established for Crossroads Hospice of Southeast Iowa, First United Methodist Church of Orlando and First United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant. Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
