Edith Viola Schillerstrom

      Edith Viola Schillerstrom, 94, of Fairfield, died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

      A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. Interment will follow in Upper Richwoods Cemetery.

      Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the family present from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church or American Diabetes Association. Cards and memorials may be sent to PO Box 362, Washington, IA 52353.

      Mrs. Schillerstrom was born Dec. 18, 1912, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Edwin C. and Mary R. Lyon Hendricks. She married Ralph C. Schillerstrom April 14, 1935. He died May 3, 1974.
