Edna B. VanDerSnick April 13, 1912 - June 14, 2003

Edna B. VanDerSnick, 91, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died at 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2003, at Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17 at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, with Father Nicholas Adam officiating. Visitation will be after the service at Manning Hall at St. Alphonsus Church. Memorials have been established to St. Alphonsus Church and to the Women of the Moose. Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.

      Survivors include a son, Robert L. VanDerSnick, of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, MaryLee Donlan of Burlington; a brother, Rollie Zihlman of Fairfield; two sisters, Leora Clark of Mt. Pleasant, and Helen Wixom of Keokuk; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
