Edna Brenneman Niles

      KALONA-Edna Brenneman Niles, 90, of Kalona, died Saturday, June 26, 2004, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, from complications of Alzheimer's disease.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. Scott Swartzendruber and the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in East Union Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, with family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the Pleasantview Home Alzheimer's unit.

      Mrs. Niles was born on Feb. 9, 1914, in Johnson County, near Kalona, to Irwin and Mattie (Miller) Brenneman. On May 27, 1952, she married Eauve L. Niles in Kalona.
