Edna Logan

      KALONA - Edna Logan, 92, of Kalona, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.

      Celebration of Life services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at East Union Mennonite Church in rural Kalona, with the Rev Jay Miiller, the Rev. David L. Yoder, the Rev. Lynn Patrick and Norman Schrock officiating. A private burial will precede the service. Visitation will be today from 2 to 8 p.m. at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for East Union Mennonite Church or Pleasantview Home.

      Mrs. Logan was born Dec. 12, 1912, to David B. and Emma (Stutzman) Hochstetler in rural Kalona. She married William Logan on Nov. 15, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1988.
