Edna M. Dorothy

Edna M. Dorothy, 94, formerly of rural Stockport, died Thursday, Aug. 28, at her daughter's home in Chariton.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with family present from 7-8 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the funeral home with the Rev. Dale Dorothy officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery east of Douds.

A memorial has been established to Circle of Friends Hospice in Chariton and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 510 S. Main St., Chariton, IA 50049.

She was born March 29, 1914, near Douds, the daughter of Elmer and Lura Wiley Parrott. On April 26, 1933, she married Raymond Dorothy in Mt. Pleasant.
