Edna M. Dorothy

      Edna M. Dorothy, 94, formerly of rural Stockport, died at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at her daughter's home in Chariton.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Dale Dorothy officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery east of Douds.

      Open visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials to Circle of Friends Hospice in Chariton may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 510 S. Main St., Chariton 50049.

      Mrs. Dorothy was born March 29, 1914, near Douds, the daughter of Elmer and Lura Wiley Parrott. She married Raymond Dorothy April 26, 1933, in Mount Pleasant. He died April 24, 1999.
