Edna Mae Crawford, 87, of Washington, Iowa, passed away on Friday, Sept. 20,

2019, at her residence.

Services will be private. Interment will be held at Sandy Hook Cemetery in Brighton, Iowa.

A general memorial has been established.

The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Edna was born Sept. 1, 1932, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Belva (Farrier) Knerr. She attended school in Brighton and graduated from Brighton High School in 1951. Edna worked as a cook for Washington County Hospital until her retirement in 2013. She had previously worked for A&W, Hardees, Washington Care Center and Action Products. Edna enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, cross stitching and sewing.

She is survived by her son, Bill Dusenbery and wife Sherri of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Theresa Lampe and husband Fred of Wellman, Iowa; son, Gary Crawford and wife DeeDee of St. Louis, Mo.; son, Steve Dusenbery of Washington, Iowa; and son, Kenny Crawford of Conesville, Iowa; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Bob Knerr of Washington, Iowa.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gene, LeRoy, Jack, Richard and Larry; and sister, Lois Freeman.
