Edna Yoder

KALONA - Edna Yoder, 92, of rural Kalona, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, in her home following declining health.

      Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, in the Melvin Yoder residence at 2605 560th Street S.W. in rural Kalona with the Rev. Rudy Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Peter Miller Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Melvin Yoder residence and will continue all day Thursday. Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of the arrangements.

      Mrs. Yoder was born Dec. 11, 1916 in Thomas, Okla., the daughter of Benedict and Mary Ann (Bontrager) Yoder. She married Amos Yoder on Nov. 28, 1935 in Thomas.
