Edward Davidson Grimmer
Edward Davidson Grimmer, 77, of Winfield, died on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at his home in rural Winfield.
According to his wishes, cremation has been accorded and there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, at the Winfield United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Nancy Bender officiating. Following the service, a time of lunch and fellowship will be held in the church basement. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Iowa City Hospice, the Winfield United Methodist Church, or the charity of the donor's choice. Honts Funeral Home in Winfield is in charge of the arrangements.
