Edward Dean Richmond

      Edward Dean Richmond, 81, of Fairfield, died Friday, April 11, 2008, at home.

      In accordance with his wishes, his body has been donated to the University of Iowa College of Medicine, and no funeral is planned at this time.

      A family celebration of his life will be held at an undetermined time.

      Memorials may be made to the Fairfield Public Library.

      Mr. Richmond was born June 29, 1926, in Hannibal, Mo., the son of George E. and Anna P. Johnson Richmond. He married Wanda Sidwell March 26, 1952, in Hannibal.
