Edward Leroy Hughes
Edward Leroy Hughes, 83, of Columbus Junction died Wednesday, July 19, 2006 in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 22 in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Cathy Whitlatch of the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery with full military rites by the Allen Wright Hanft American Legion Post 100. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. July 21 in the funeral home. Following the committal service there will be a time for food and fellowship at the Columbus City Masonic Hall. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
