Edwin DeWitt

Edwin DeWitt, 93, of Stockport, died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

A Masonic service open to the public will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Virgil Morris presiding. Burial, with military rites by American Legion Elvin E. Cecil Post No. 147 of Stockport, will be in Spencer Cemetery, northeast of Stockport.

Open visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with family visitation from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.

Memorials to Spencer Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at PO Box 513, Keosauqua 52565.

Mr. DeWitt was born July 20, 1915, in Stockport, the son of Frank Festus and Sarah Frances Ankrom DeWitt.
