Eileen V. Dautremont

Eileen V. Dautremont, 85, of Coralville died Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with Rev. Richard Adams officiating. Burial will be at St. Vincent's Cemetery in Riverside. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City where a Rosary will be recited at 4:30 pm and a Vigil will be held at 6:30 pm. Friends may also call after 9:00 am on Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Czech Village Museum in Cedar Rapids.

      Eileen was born January 29, 1923 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Norbert and Laura (Shonka) Prizler. Eileen grew up in Iowa City and graduated from St. Mary's High School. She married Stephen Dautremont on April 26, 1943 and the couple moved to Riverside in 1946. Stephen passed away in 1977.
