Elbert D. Cresap

Elbert D. Cresap, 86, of Clive, formerly of Danville, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

      The funeral service was at 2 p.m. today at Danville Methodist Church, with Pastor Richard Latta officiating. Burial was in Jaggar Cemetery in Danville. Memorials have been established to Danville Methodist Church, Danville Care Center, Hospice of Central Iowa and Kavanagh House, 900 56th St. Des Moines, IA 50312.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Marlys and her husband Bill Davis of Grand Rapids, Linda and her husband Patrick Plummer of Urbandale, Julie and her husband Tom Crotty of Cedar Falls, and Barb and her husband Jeff Coselman of Waterloo; and seven grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
