Elda G. Way

KALONA - Elda G. Way, 92, of Kalona, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, in Pleasantview Home in Kalona after a lingering illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 in the United Christian and Baptist Church in Kalona with the Rev. Rolland Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14 in the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorials may be made to the United Christian and Baptist Church.

      Mrs. Way was born Aug. 6, 1916 in Wellman, the daughter of Harry J. and Gertrude (Fry) Bigelow. She married Eugene Way on Oct. 5, 1940 in Des Moines.
