Elda Marie Bipes

      Elda Marie Bipes, 95, of Davenport, formerly of Ottumwa and Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Davenport Lutheran Home.

      A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Keith Piotter officiating. Interment will be at Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa.

      Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

      Memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church of Bettendorf or the Davenport Lutheran Home.

      Mrs. Bipes was born Oct. 28, 1912, in Emmet, Minn., the daughter of Fred C. and Albertina Pankow Reiter. She married Leullyen Bipes Nov. 9, 1932, in Renville, Minn. He died Jan. 7, 1968.
