Eldon D. Wyse

Eldon Duane Wyse, 82, of Wayland, died Monday, June 2, at Parkview Home in Wayland, of cancer.

His body has been cremated. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be at Sugar Creek Mennonite Cemetery at a later date.

Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements. According to his wishes, the money saved from his cremation was given to the Mennonite Mission Network. Memorials have been established for the Sugar Creek Cemetery Fund and the Parkview Home.

He was born March 20, 1926, in rural Henry County, the son of Samuel and Emma Saltzman Wyse. On Oct. 29, 1950, he married Pauline Mae Boshart near Wayland.
