Eldon Duane Wyse

WAYLAND - Eldon Duane Wyse, 82, of Wayland, died Monday, June 2, 2008, in Parkview Home in Wayland of cancer.

      Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 5, in the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. The body will be cremated so money could be saved and donated to Mennonite Mission Network. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Sugar Creek Cemetery Fund or the Parkview Home.

      Mr. Wyse was born March 20, 1926 in rural Henry County, the son of Samuel and Emma (Saltzman) Wyse. He married Pauline Mae Boshart on Oct. 29, 1950 near Wayland.
