Elisabeth Ann Neil, age 37, of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Henry County Health Center.

Elisabeth was born on May 24, 1988, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Scott D. and Kristi L. (Booth) Neil. She graduated from Washington High School in 2006. Elisabeth worked at JBS in Ottumwa for several years.

Elisabeth was the type of person to welcome anyone. She was strong-minded. Elisabeth had five beautiful children and three stepchildren. She loved going on adventures and making memories with her family. She was always the one to capture the moments behind the camera. You could always find her at the park or at kids’ birthday parties playing with the children. She was very crafty and loved to be out in nature. When it was warm outside, you could find her at the lakes playing in the sand or swimming with the kids.

She is survived by her daughter, Kailey (Ben) Schlatter of Olds, Iowa; son, Kaeden Connelly of New London, Iowa; son, Kendall Connelly of New London, Iowa; daughter, Raedyn Ervin of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; and son, Garrett Ervin of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; stepchildren, Ligeia, Maryjane, and Jenna Ervin; father, Scott (Alice) Neil of Washington, Iowa; brother, Cody (Becca) Neil of Winfield, Iowa, and their children, Alivia, Luke, Blake, and Shawn; grandmother, Marjorie Neil of Washington, Iowa; many aunts and uncles; and her significant other of many years, Will Ervin.

Elisabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Kristi Neil; grandfather, Kendall Neil; and maternal grandparents, Roger Booth and Karen Grimm.
