Elisha A. Mabb, 46, of Sumner, died Thursday, May 27, 2021, at her home, after a battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. at North Woods Park, rural Sumner. Becker & Son Funeral Home in Sumner is assisting Elisha's family. Online condolences may be left at www.beckermilnesrettig.com.

Elisha Ann, daughter of Larry and Linda (Quam) Mabb was born March 8, 1975, in Iowa City, Iowa. She received her education in the Washington Schools and in 2010 earned her High School Diploma from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo. Elisha met Kevin Fox in 1996, and shortly after, the couple made their home in Sumner. She was a CNA, which brought her a lot of joy in helping others, and worked as a cook at several different grocery stores and restaurants. Elisha also operated a food truck in Sumner where people would enjoy her famous tenderloins and onion rings. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and listening to music. Elisha was a caring and social person, who loved her family and many friends dearly.

Elisha is survived by her four children, Blaine Mabb of Cedar Falls, Elizabeth Fox of Sumner, Cory (Katie) Fox of Cedar Falls and Cassie (Brandon Noel) Fox of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Eli Fox of Sumner, and Jaxson, Kolson and Natalia Fox of Cedar Falls; mother, Linda Mabb of Sumner; two sisters, Kaylin (Dana) Tesch of Palmer, Alaska, and Arian (Jake) Doonan of Gibson, Iowa; two nieces, Riley and Madeline Doonan; special friend, Kevin Fox of Sumner; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Mabb; grandparents, Mary and Don Kearney and Geneva and Louie Pailliotet; and Kevin's parents, Diane and Cebert Fox.
