Elizabeth (Betty) E. Bishop

      Elizabeth (Betty) E. Bishop, 84, of Washington, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following a recent decline in health.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Faith Baptist Church in Washington with the Rev. Harald Gruber officiating. Visitation with the family present will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday in the church. Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mission Programs at Faith Baptist Church. The Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington is handling the arrangements.

      Mrs. Bishop was born Dec. 15, 1922, in Washington, the daughter of Walter and Libbie (Newlon) Leet. She married Donald Russell Bishop Sr. in Missouri.
