Elizabeth 'Betty' Satern
COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Elizabeth "Betty" Satern, 62, of Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 24 in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction, with the Rev. Paul Appel officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Satern was born Dec. 5, 1945, in Sherburn, Minn., the daughter of Joseph N. and Florence M. (Studer) Leibfried. She married Steven A. Satern on May 1, 1965 in Spring Valley, Minn.
