Elizabeth Dold October 11, 1902 - December 10, 2003

Elizabeth Dold, 101, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at New London Nursing and Rehab Center.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15 at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Robert Patton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15 at the chapel. Memorials have been established to the New London Nursing and Rehab Center and Wesley Chapel.

      Survivors include three daughters, Corinne French of Centerville, Gwen Peterson and her husband Vern of Mt. Pleasant, and Vivian Rappenecker of Burlington; and eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild, a great-grandchild, two sons-in-law, two brothers and two sisters.
