Elizabeth Graber

      NEWTON, Kan. - Elizabeth Graber, 92, of Newton, formerly of Washington, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 in Newton.

      Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26 in the Bethel Mennonite Church with the Rev. Robert Hartzler and the Rev. Phil Slabaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday in the church with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Newton, Kan., or the Gideon's.

      Mrs. Graber was born June 4, 1914 in Noble, the daughter of Roy and Susan (Wittrig) Alston. She married Elvin Miller on June 6, 1934. He died in November 1939. She later married Alvin Graber on Dec. 21, 1941.
