Elizabeth Jean 'Betty' Moffett

      Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Moffett, 82, of Washington, formerly of Ladysmith, Wis., died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.

      Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at the United Presbyterian Home in conjunction with Evensong. Burial will be at Sunrise Memorial Park in Duluth, Minn., on Monday, Dec. 1. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Ms. Moffett was born June 21, 1926, in St. Maries Benewah, Idaho, the daughter of John and Nora (Eastlund) Moffett.
