Elizabeth K. Yoder

      KALONA - Elizabeth K. Yoder, 89, of Wellman, formerly of Joetown, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Kalona United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynn Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Joetown. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

      Mrs. Yoder was born March 26, 1919, in Oklahoma, the daughter of Henry and Fannie (Miller) Kauffman. She married Wayne Yoder on Feb. 18, 1940.
