Elke Andresen Hart

Elke Andresen Hart, 65, of Mount Pleasant, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at home.

A memorial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Harold Schutte officiating. Burial will be in Grant Cemetery at a later date. 

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Research Foundation.

Mrs. Hart was born June 2, 1944, in Nordstrand, Germany, the daughter of Bernhard and Kate Irma Andresen. She married Ronnie W. Hart Feb. 12, 1961, at her parents? farmhouse.
