Ella M. 'Smitty' Reed
Ella M. "Smitty" Reed, 94, of rural Libertyville died at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
A graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Monday in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville, with the Rev. Larry Eklund officiating. Her body has been cremated.
Memorials to monument repair in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham may be left at the service or mailed to the family at 2599 Douds Road, Libertyville 52567.
Mrs. Reed was born Sept. 11, 1911, near Birmingham, the daughter of Pearl A. and Mary Grammar Smith. She married John Reed May 18, 1938, in Crown Point, Ind.
