Ellavene Longwell
Ellavene Longwell, 92, of Wellman, died Saturday, April 22, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.
The funeral service was Tuesday, April 25, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wellman, with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial followed in Wellman Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Born Nov. 23, 1913, in Keswick, she was the daughter of John and Susie Healey O'Brian. She married A.G. "Ham" Longwell on Nov. 10, 1936, in North English. He preceded her in death in 1995.
