Ellen Elizabeth Benson
Ellen Elizabeth Benson, 103, formerly of Iowa City, died July 30, 2005, at Lone Tree Health Care Center.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at United Presbyterian Church in Lone Tree. Visitation will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. this evening. Burial will be in Swank Cemetery in Lone Tree. The family will receive friends for a time of food and fellowship following the committal service at United Presbyterian Church.
Miss Benson was born in Fremont Township on March 3, 1902, to Peter and Johanna (Olin) Benson.
