Ellen H. Johnson

Ellen H. Johnson, 97, Washington, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital and Clinics in Washington.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Audubon. Burial will be in the Arlington Heights Cemetery in Audubon. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the church. A memorial service will also be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 10 in the Halcyon House Chapel in Washington. Memorials may be made to the Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Audubon Public Library, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington or Good Samaritan Fund in Halcyon House.

      Mrs. Johnson was born Dec. 2, 1912 in Dickson, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Julius Georg Vilhelm Magnussen and Anna Vilhelmine Jesperrsen. She married Fred Jensen on June 8, 1933 in Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Audubon County. She later married Harvey Johnson on Sept. 25, 1970 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Audubon.
