Ellen L. Whyle October 12, 1916 - January 29, 2004

Ellen Louise Whyle, 87, of West Burlington, died at 3:28 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Great River Medical Center's Klein Center in Burlington.

      There will be no visitation or service at this time. Burial will be at a later date in Troy Mills.

Survivors include two sons, Ron Whyle of New London, and Richard Whyle of Lees Summitt, Mo.; a daughter, Nancy Hulett of Kingston; a stepson, Wilford Whyle of Castic, Calif.; 35 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pat Ford of Rockford, Ill.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two stepsons, two brothers, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
