Ellen S. Tripp
Ellen S. Tripp, 90, of Washington, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, following declining health for the past four months, at Halcyon House in Washington.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established to Paws and More Animal Shelter.
Mrs. Tripp was born Aug. 14, 1917, in LeMars, to Anders and Mary (Walsmer) Stenum. She married George Maxwell Tripp on March 15, 1941, in Sioux City. He preceded her in death in 1980.
