Elliott McKinstry

      Elliott McKinstry, 86, of Washington died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at Halcyon House in Washington following a prolonged illness.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Jean Wollenberg officiating. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be made to the Halcyon House or Hospice of Washington County.

      Mr. McKinstry was born March 28, 1921, in Washington County, the son of John Hill and Emily Matilda (Chmelar) McKinstry. He married Marjorie Elizabeth Chalupa on July 31, 1938, in Burlington.
