Ellis Borntrager
KALONA-Ellis Borntrager, 61, of Kalona, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, of complications of pneumonia.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the Duane Miller residence in rural Kalona, with the Rev. Ivan Borntrager officiating. Burial will be in South Gingerich Cemetery. Visitation began at 2 p.m. on Monday, at the Duane Miller residence in rural Kalona. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home of Kalona is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Borntrager was born on June 30, 1942, in Kalona, to Eli and Anna (Miller) Borntrager.
