Elmer (Bud) Adam, 93, of Richland, died June 23, 2019, at Sunnybrook Living Care Center in Fairfield. Elmer was born August 3, 1925, to John and Theresa Greiner Adam. He lived and farmed his entire life north of Richland, graduating from Richland High School in 1943. He married Helen Pacha in East Pleasant Plain in 1948

Survivors include his wife Helen; ten sons: Robert (Sandy), Cincinnati, OH; Fr. Nick, Fairfield; Steve (Mary K.),Greensburg, IN; James, Iowa City; Andy (Patty), Richland; Ken (Peggy), Chanhassen, MN; Fr. Rich, Davenport; Fr. Chuck, Coralville; Paul (Diane), Iowa City; Chris (Christy), Maryville, TN; three daughters: Suanne (Garry) Dickey, Packwood; Mary (Ed) Morales, Richland; and Teresa (Brian) Green, Boone. Sisters: Irene Dickinson, Fairfield, Bernice Vogel, Keystone, IA, and Elizabeth Vogel, Hereford, TX; 26 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield on Thursday, June 27 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass will be at St. Mary in Fairfield on Friday, June 28 at 11:00 AM with Fathers Nick, Rich, and Chuck Adam presiding. Gould Funeral Home of Richland in charge of arrangements.
