Elmer James Galloway Jr.
LONE TREE - Elmer James Galloway Jr., 90, of Lone Tree, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, in the Iowa City Rehab and Care center following an extended illness.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 in the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Parish Coordinator Carol Kaalberg will officiate a private graveside service in the Lone Tree Cemetery at a later date with full military rites by the Lone Tree American legion Post No. 457. A memorial fund has been established for Amenity Hospice.
Mr. Galloway was born April 25, 1917, in Johnson County, the son of James Sr. and Mary (Bacon) Galloway. He married Virginia R. Smith on July 27, 1947, in Nichols.
