Elmer M. Adam

FAIRFIELD - Elmer M. Adam, 84, of Fairfield, died Monday, June 9, 2008, in his residence.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 12, in the St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Stephen Page officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield and from 6 to 8 p.m. in the church. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, with military honors. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Central Iowa.

      Mr. Adam was born July 28, 1923, in Harper, the son of Peter J. and Pearl (Sondag) Adam. He married Harriet Greiner on May 6, 1947 in St. James Catholic Church in Washington.
