Elsie Wren Kephart passed peacefully on June 17, 2023, at 10:20 a.m. Elsie was not able to spend time on this earth, but she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Elsie had beautiful bow lips, a button nose, and a head full of blonde hair. Her dainty hands and feet were those of only angles. She was breathtaking. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on in our hearts and minds. Elsie Wren is the daughter of Eric and Brooke Kephart of Keota, Iowa.

Elsie Wren is survived by two siblings, Cooper and Grayson Kephart; her paternal grandparents, Joel and Deb Kephart of Ollie; and maternal grandparents Rich and Becky Barclift of North Liberty, and Rusty and Judy Davidson of Birmingham. Elsie is also survived by many great-grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Private funeral services were held at Prairie View Church on June 24, 2023. There was a luncheon that followed where guests greeted the family. For those who would like to see the livestream service, they can view the service by visiting prairieviewchurch-iowa.org.
