Elva Eileen Rawson, 54, of Olds, Iowa, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

Elva was born Sept. 18, 1965, in South Berwick, Maine, the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth (Monroe) Monroe. She graduated from South Berwick High School. Elva was united in marriage to Peter Mott in 2004 in New Hampshire.

Elva and Peter moved to Iowa in 2012. She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping, going to flea markets and attending book signings. Elva had an extensive collection of Princess Diana memorabilia.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Mott of Olds, Iowa; son, Mathew Rawson of Olds, Iowa; daughter, Victoria Rawson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; brother, Charles Monroe of South Berwick, Maine; and brother, Larry Monroe of Iowa City, Iowa.

Elva was preceded in death by her parents.
