Elwood D. Yoder
KALONA ? Elwood D. Yoder, 81, of Kalona, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at his home, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at Kalona United Methodist Church in Kalona with the Rev. Lynn Patrick officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Yoder was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Wellman, the son of Melvin and Katherine (Otto) Yoder. He married Norma Christy in 1982 in Muscatine.
