Emery John Wenger
Emery John Wenger, 92, of Swedesburg, died on Sunday, Nov. 26, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a short illness.
Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, with Pastor Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. The Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to the Gideon's International or the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church.
