Emily N. Koenigsacker
Emily N. Koenigsacker, 58, of Washington, died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals, following a lengthy illness.
A funeral mass will begin Friday, July 8, at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Washington with the Rev. Edward O'Melia officiating. A memorial has been established for St. Patrick's Parish in Omaha, Neb.
Mrs. Koenigsacker was born March 24, 1947, near North Liberty to Paul and Hazel (Miller) Herring. She married Daniel P. Koenigsacker on Sept. 28, 1978 at the State University of Iowa.
